COMMISSION INFO, Policies and Price guide

(please be sure to read this section thoroughly)

*PAYMENT*

​

·         Payment will be made with E-Transfers and I send an invoice through WAVE accounting app.

​

·         I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% before I start work on a commission. Work will start once the deposit has cleared through E-Transfer and will be initiated with a non-refundable deposit invoice through WAVE accounting app. All commissions are first come first served so start times may vary. Spots in queue line can be reserved with non refundable deposit, otherwise deposits will only be collected when work will start.

 

·         I will only send a commission once full payment and shipping has been paid

·         All prices are in CAD (I will only accept payment in CAD)

​

·         Payment Plans are available for items over 300$ CAD (NOTE: there needs to be a 50% non-refundable deposit before I start working on commissions  the rest can be made in payments over a time period we discuss)

​

Payment Options Include:

​

·         Payment in Full - You pay the full price of item or commission upfront (not including shipping) Once the commission is completed you pay the shipping fee. This is typically done for rush jobs commissions rush jobs will also be charged and additional $75-100.

​

·         Payment Plans - You pay 50% upfront followed by equal payments finishing before the sculpture is shipped in the timeframe we discuss. WAVE accounting app invoices will be sent on the payment due date. Once payments have finished you pay the shipping fee and the doll is shipped off - this can also be applied to already made items that I will set aside and shipped when payments are made in full. Payment time frame is limited but negotiable BUT will be subject to %50 non refundable charge if payment can't be made, all other payments will be refunded.

*SHIPPING*

·         I ship via Canada Post using Xpresspost service. This option comes with a tracking number. "Signature required" and insurance can be added if requested. If a  different shipping method is needed let me know and we will work it out. I generally ship within one 1-2 weeks (typically much faster with premade items but depends on order volumes) of receiving an order (unless made to order). All packages are secured with a very generous helping of packing materials to ensure safety when traveling.

*International Customers*I am happy to ship things worldwide. I am, however, not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Items ship CANADA POST Xpresspost, tracking number. Buyer will be responsible for taxes, duties, and any additional customs fees for their own country, if applicable.

 

·         PLEASE NOTE: delivery times can vary for both domestic and  international packages, so please be patient, thank you.

 

*CANCELLATION / REFUNDS*

** Though refunds can be made available after shipping under extreme circumstances, all sales are Buyer Beware and in most cases Final Sale. UrBen Upcycle takes no responsibility after the package is handed over to Canada Post. IF a refund is considered an acceptable situation the customer is responsible for any and all return costs. Refunds will only be issued once item has returned and UrBen Upcycle has the right to fix and resell any items returned**

·         I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any time if you are rude, threatening or unreasonable. You will be refunded any money paid excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit.

​

·         If you find that you are unable to make payments and wish to cancel the commission then you may do so and money will be returned, excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit. The option is also available that I keep the funds sent and send you the unfinished doll. If not I retain the right to finish and sell the doll.

​

·         If you do not make payment upon the due date (without an reasonable and acceptable reason and only one time) I have the right to cancel the agreement  and sell the item. You will be refunded any money paid excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit.

·         If you do not pay in full for the Art Figure I retain the right to sell the doll

​

·         If the commission is cancelled then the Art Figure remains my property and I retain all rights to ownership in the concept, design and doll itself including the right to complete, exhibit and sell the doll.

·         If you find that the Art Figure isn't progressing as you wanted it to and it isn't fulfilling your expectations or needs and therefore wish to cancel the commission then please tell me immediately. I will return all payments excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit. Please keep in mind that if this is the case I am more then willing to work with you in getting the art piece back on track!

*CARING FOR YOUR Art Figure and or other items*

​

·         If the doll breaks within 3 months of owning I will fix it free of charge for you. However you must cover shipping both ways. This option is a case by case basis

​

·         You are responsible for caring for, maintaining and preserving the doll. Keep dolls away from anything wet (SPECIALLY AIRBRUSHED DOLLS). Excessive re-positioning of the doll can cause metal fatigue, please be aware of this while interacting with your doll and take care not to strain the armature. Clean all other items with soft dusting cloths and only clean with gentle cleaners I cannot be held responsible for any breakages.

·         While I  use high quality materials you must be aware that materials may deteriorate over time. Handling, and poor care of work can lead to degradation in quality over time. Because of this please be careful with your items they are not a toy and UrBen Upcycle is not responsible for how you treat your items purchased.

*COPYRIGHT*

·         I retain all copyright. No reproduction or manipulation in any form is allowed without my permission.

​

·         You may take photographs of the work but I retain copyright of the doll itself and credit must be given by linking back to me.

·         I retain the right to display all work on my websites, gallery, portfolio etc, etc.

*GENERAL PRICING and basic info about how items are made*

·         These are general/base prices and are subject to change. I give approximate quotes when actually discussing the commissions (unless otherwise stated). All items are completely handmade by me using non-toxic environmentally materials (unless other wise stated in item description). All items are made in a smoke free environment. Shipping fees vary. I can give general quotes beforehand so you have an idea but the customer must agree and understand that this may change and all shipping costs are determined and finalized by the shipping company.

·         Photos: $10 each

 

·         For general items made I charge $25 per hour + costs of goods sold (COGs) + shipping. This goes towards items such as jewelry, sculptures, lights, furniture and general art work.

*Note: commission work will be set at this rate unless otherwise stated, and for item prices below. Though this may change if a commission becomes to complicated, but I will do everything I can to make sure that doesn't happen.

*Note: All art Figures and other items will be made from material on hand and swatches can be emailed for available choices, please also note that custom materials that need to be acquired must be paid for by customer upfront and will be invoiced through WAVE accounting app.

*Note: All creations smaller then next section are not set prices as I make smaller items out of more valuable materials.

ART Figure prices

8 Inches

·          Base price starting at $375 CAD + shipping depending on your character details and added extras more will be added to the base price.

10 Inches

·         Base price starting at $425 CAD + shipping depending on your character details and added extras more will be added to the base price.

​

12 Inches (Most common)

·         Base price starting at $500 CAD + shipping depending on your character details and added extras more will be added to the base price.

​

14 INCHES

·         Base price starting at $600 CAD + shipping depending on your character details and added extras more will be added to the base price.

Anything bigger

·         price starting at $675 CAD + varies by size and on your character details and added extras more will be added to the base price.

Extras

​

·         Extras like more tails, longer tails, multiple heads, adding wings, accessories etc etc are an additional $10-100

​

·         Fully furred faces 20 $

​

·         Handmade resin eyes $20-60 (pair, depending on size and detail)

​

·         Complex designs are an additional $10-80

​

·         Wire armature $5-20 depending on complexity, size and if you want it posable

​

I send Photos periodically to make sure the doll is being made to your liking. Time for dolls varies but usually take 1-3 months. All orders are made on first come first served basis.
